• The room has 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed.
• Room 607 has a Turkish bath and fireplace.

• The room has underfloor heating.

History of Room 607

The walls were cleaned using a tool resembling a geologist’s thin and pointed pickaxe.
Purified surfaces assist in the oxidation process and allow the stone to harden.
A smooth surface tends to collect moisture and causes peeling or flaking.
The walls were made this way centuries ago.
The bed in the room, work desk, wardrobe doors, and window frames were made in the carpentry workshop on site. The stones used for restoration were also dimensioned on-site.

As MDC Hotel is located in a heritage area, we took care to keep the rooms in their original dimensions.

You will notice drilled holes in the ceilings of all bathrooms and some other rooms. These increase the necessary air circulation to preserve cave surfaces. Without ventilation, moisture accumulates and walls and ceilings can deteriorate.

Construction began in October 2009. The area on the left of the stairs leading to the reception is the restaurant, and the area to the left of the restaurant contains the reception and all the rooms extending to the right were completed and made ready for opening in February 2011. The construction of a total of 22 rooms and shared areas lasted for 2 years. To offer our guests a more comfortable and pleasant environment without disturbing the original cave structure of our hotel, once there were 70 workers daily on the construction site.
