• The room has 1 double bed, 2 single beds, and 1 large sofa bed.
• Room 604 has a hammam.

• The room has underfloor heating.

History of Room 604

The walls were cleaned using a tool reminiscent of a geologist's fine and pointed picks.
Smooth surfaces aid in the oxidation process and allow the stone to harden.
An irregular surface tends to collect moisture and leads to peeling or chipping.
The walls were made this way hundreds of years ago.
The bed, desk, wardrobe doors, and window frames in the room were made in the carpentry workshop on-site. The stones used for restoration were also dimensioned on-site.

As MDC Hotel is located in a heritage area, we have taken care to keep the rooms in their original dimensions.

You will notice openings in the ceilings of all bathrooms and some other rooms. These increase the necessary air circulation to preserve the cave surfaces. Without ventilation, moisture collects, and walls and ceilings can deteriorate.

Construction began in October 2009. The restaurant to the left of the stairs leading to the reception, and the area to the left of the restaurant, including all rooms accessed by the reception and extending to the right, were completed and made ready for opening in February 2011. The construction of a total of 22 rooms and common areas lasted for 2 years. At one point, 70 workers were working daily on the site to provide our guests with a more comfortable and cozy environment without compromising the original cave structure of our hotel.
