Features of our Room 202
- There are 2 single beds and 2 sofa beds in the room.
- Maximum 2 people can stay.
- All rooms of our hotel have a jacuzzi.

History of Our Room 202
We have preserved the original ornamental carving in the ceiling. You will notice two doorways to this room, in accordance with the Historical Society we were not allowed to alter either of these. The beds are original benches that we divided to define sitting and sleeping. The cutouts for the cupboards are original but the doors were made on site. The bathroom was not as big originally, we lengthened it by a meter and dug down about one meter. İn the entry way to the far left you will notice an area that has been stoned in. There was a stairway accessing a basement for the room. The basement was used for animal and food storage as well as wine making. Remember this area was inhabited by Christian Greeks. The basement wads closed of to accommodate entry to room 203. The walls were cleaned by using a hammer resembling a geologists pick. The rough surfaces help the oxidization process and allows the stone to harden. A smooth surface would tend to collect moisture and cause flaking. This is the way the walls were done hundreds of years ago. You will also notice holes bored into ceilings of all bathrooms and some other rooms. These enhance air circulation which is necessary in preservation of the cave surfaces. Without ventilation moisture would collect and the walls and ceilings would deteriorate. The bed, desk, closet doors and windows frames were made on site. Stones were also sized on site. Construction started in Kasım 2009. Standing at the bottom of the stairs the area to left of the restaurant, the restaurant and reception buildings as well as all the rooms accessible via the stairs and extending all the way to the right were completed and ready for opening in February 2011.
