Features of Room 510

• The room has 1 double bed and 1 wide sofa bed. Optionally, it can be used as two single beds.
• Maximum 2 people can stay in the room.
• All rooms in our hotel have a jacuzzi.
• In the room, there is also an electric kettle, television, air conditioning, complimentary water, slippers, basket of toiletries, safe, telephone, minibar, hairdryer, and WiFi.
• We offer a complimentary wake-up service.
• The room has underfloor heating system.

History of Room 510

The staircase leading to Room 510 was completely worn out, so we rebuilt the stairs. The ceiling of the room was in a completely deteriorated state and required support. Room 510 was one of the challenging rooms to work on. It was surrounded by fine soil all over, making it very difficult to renovate. Room 510 was located on the middle floor of a 3-story house and used to be the kitchen of the house. The room was designed to be shared among 3 rooms with a staircase. The space for the table and closet in the room could not be expanded further. The bathroom was expanded to accommodate the jacuzzi.

The walls were cleaned using a tool resembling a geologist's thin and sharp-edged pickaxe.
Purified surfaces aid in the oxidation process and allow the stone to harden.
A smooth surface tends to accumulate moisture, leading to peeling or flaking.
The walls were constructed this way hundreds of years ago.
The bed, desk, closet doors, and window frames in the room were all made in the joinery workshop on-site. The stones used for restoration were also dimensioned in the field.

Since MDC Hotel is located in a heritage area, we have made efforts to keep the rooms in their original size.

You will notice openings in the ceilings of all bathrooms and some other rooms. These are necessary to increase air circulation to preserve the cave surfaces. Without ventilation, moisture can accumulate, causing damage to walls and ceilings.

Construction began in October 2009. The restaurant to the left of the reception and the area to the left of the restaurant, all rooms accessed by the stairs and extending to the right, were completed and made ready for opening in February 2011. The construction of a total of 22 rooms and common areas took 2 years. In order to provide our guests with a more comfortable and relaxing environment without compromising the original cave structure of our hotel, 70 workers were employed at the construction site.
